Website Terms and Conditions of Use

Thank you for stopping by as I hope I can be a help to you.  Let me first make clear what I can and can’t answer for you.

I have been employed as a Dietitian to do medical nutrition therapy for a long time.  However, my licensing does not permit me to give personal counseling advice outside of my province of Nova Scotia, Canada.  The nutrition information here is generalized, not customized, so may not fit your specific situation, capacity, or medical condition.  Your comments or questions may be used to inform future posts, but I am not able to answer specific scenario questions.

The content on this website is written with adult women in mind. Therefore, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use this website. By accessing the information contained on this website, indicates that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age.

This site is abiding by the Position Statement: Social Media in Dietetic Practice of the Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists and is updated and maintained as I acquire new knowledge and insight.  It is not intended to replace more accurate, evidence-informed, current, and personalized medical nutrition therapy or individualized medical advice.  I intend to provide a knowledgeable, professional nutrition perspective and practical tips, not provide personalized therapy to treat your nutrition diagnosis.

We all eat, so we all have our viewpoints about food and nutrition.  Please know that my intention is not to offend your outlook but to help you along the way, as you look to eat well in a fast-food world. What I have learned from counseling many people has enriched my education in ways I could not learn in a book.  I hope to use this knowledge and lived experience to help you make eating well a natural side effect of liking and cooking healthy food.  We likely both have the same goal in mind: to be healthy.  Let’s launch our comments and share our experiences from that common ground, to build each other up and to encourage.

I do not have any conflicts of interest and/or disclaimers to disclose currently other than I may have affiliate links. These will be clearly indicated and are outlined in the website’s privacy policy.

I am thinking of you as I write and am praying that as we nourish both body and soul, we will bring peace to our tables.

Come take a seat at my table, where there is always room for one more,

Jane
